Lars Lawson of Timber Design Co. (www.timberdesignco.com) designed this annual report for Hancock County Regional Hospital, Indiana.  We shot this on location at the hospital with real patients.  This piece was designed with a wraparound cover (pictured) that the client ultimately removed before sending it out.  Most people got the book with a plain white cover.  Feedback from people who received this booklet in the mail has been quite good. It's won several awards and is in the 2008 design annuals of CA and Print magazines. Click on thumbnail for larger view.

Lars is a demanding taskmaster -- always knows what he wants and damn the torpedoes, he's gettin' it.  I was having some trouble posing the people like Lars had in mind so there was a bit of back and forth on how to do it until he finally made me see the light (!).  It's always fun working with Lars, though, and I like his way of getting the best out of everyone.
